Meyer Lemons are the best lemons in the world! Sweet, tangy and less acidic than a regular lemon, the Meyer is a hybrid cross between a Citron (lemon) and a Mandarin (orange). They are highly fragrant, juicier than a regular lemon, and have a slight orange blush to their skin. They are used in cooking and baking, juicing and drink recipes, Limoncello, Turkish candy, desserts and frozen treats like gelato.
Because of their sweeter pulp and thinner skins, Meyer Lemons are more delicate and perishable than their tougher lemon cousins. Refrigerate whole lemons on arrival or juice immediately and store juice up to one month in the refrigerator. You can also freeze the juice in ice cube trays!
